Answer: Community
We have found community to be the most important thing in life, in relationships, and in business. It is the driving force for everything. Do you want to get the word out about a new product? Go to your community. Do you need support with some life changing occurrence? Go to your community. Look at Twitter, Facebook, and yes, even LinkedIn to some extent. They are all based on community.
The thing we have enjoyed the most about Denver and Boulder is that the tech (and startup) communities are amazing. We LOVE spending time with you people 🙂 We enjoy all the events, meetups, and conferences that these two great cities pull in every year – hell, every month.
If you know about us, then you know that we sponsor a ton of stuff. Everything from TedX Boulder, to Ignite Boulder AND Ignite Denver, to BDNT. This is not the whole list, this is just a tribute. Why do we sponsor all these things? Community. We want to give back to the community that has given us so much. Our friends, our coworkers, our colleagues, and our business partners all came from connections we have made or that have been made for us through this community.
To that end, we have started a new initiative with Robert Reich and BDNT. For tech groups who have meetups or want to have a meetup, we will sponsor your meetup! This means that we will at the least, help you pay for your meetup.com fees. For some groups we are even able to help pay for food and beers for at least one meeting!
Our first meetup sponsorship has been awarded to Women Who Code. This meetup was formed to support any coding efforts by women, whether it is a side project, a career, or anything in between. Let’s face it, the stereotype for coders is a bunch of sweaty dudes in their parent’s basements coding away while playing WarCraft and drinking Mountain Dew. We are extremely proud to be supporting the efforts of Women Who Code!

We are so appreciative of the support that the Boulder and Denver tech communities have shown for our group. In 4 months we have grown to nearly 200 members! It’s because of sponsors like Technical Integrity that we are able to support all of these women in their coding aspirations, and continue to grow female developers in our community.
We have also sponsored Startup Women, which is a “group of women entrepreneurs who are creating or managing our own businesses and meet to share the good, the bad, and the ugly.”
